About Us

Wade and I met on the computer in 1999.    When we finally met in person, I knew I wanted to spend my life the rest of my life with this man.  We were married on Thankgiving Day 2000.  We are in many ways alike and in many was complete opposites but you know it makes life interesting.

We stated our lives in Rose Hill, MS.  This is a very small town and we lived on a road that consisted mostly of cousins.  In 2002, we purchased 42 acres in Gradyville, KY and I call it "Our Piece of Heaven".

Since I'm unable to have children, we consider our 4 legged ones our kids.  They are so spoiled rotten as you will see in the pictures we share.

We moved to Gradyville, May 2004 about 3 years before we planned.  I'm glad we did because there is no stress here.  It's like having your cake and eating it too.

Wade wants to start a farm.  Yee-Haw!  We will have cows, horses, and chickens.  The deer are plentiful and play all the time in front of our house and the turkey just strut their stuff.

The kids are adjusting quite well and are learning not to get so excited when they see our neighbors or the wildlife.  Thank goodness!

Here's a list of some of our favorite things to do:

-Drive through the mountains

-Travel unknow terriorty

-Walk our mountain

-Visit our neighbors

-Relax and enjoy the views and the wildlife

-Taking loads of pictures (okay that is me, I'm a camera buff)

We love to hunt.  Actually Wade is the hunter.  I tried but I just can't seem to pull the trigger so I take my camera and take pictures.

This is just a little area of our heaven.  Can you belive I climb upon a tractor to cut grass.  Actually it's quite fun until you have to do the sides of our knob.  It's pretty scary until you get use to it.

I like it when Wade is home so he can take over the farm duties
