She is Collie/Shepard mix. I picked this girl up in a Picayune, MS where somone
had dumped her on the interstate in Spring 1994.
Tippy knew voice commands, was very tempermental and extremely protective
of me. As she has grown older she is more relaxed. She still has a lot of spunk and shows her teeth to strangers,
which is good.
She had her first litter in November 1994 and she was not a happy girl. She had
7 pups that were part Rotts. They were so cute and all went to wonderful homes.
Her favorite thing to do when she was young was to catch and pluck chickens. No
I have no pics of her with a mouth full of feathers, but she was comical when she got caught in the act. Unfortunately,
someone shot her and her rear is full of pellets. Since that incident she has had skin problems and we had to shave
her often while living in MS. Here is a pic where she is not too happy about being butt naked. I had to put tee-shirts
on her to give her a sense of dignity.
